All offers on DORST design's website are not binding until a contract of sale is made between DORST design and the customer. This contract will be established as follows:
Since many of DORST design's product's are unique (one of a kind), a product may be 'reserved' by another customer at the time of ordering. DORST design will inform the customer as soon as possible if this should happen.
1.2
By ordering, the customer agrees to be bound by DORST design's terms and conditions. DORST design reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions after its term expires. DORST design is not liable for the consequences of any spelling mistakes or typographical errors.
1.3
In the event the customer receives items he or she did not order, the customer should inform DORST design of this fact within 5 business days. Any errors in the order confirmation that DORST design has sent the customer should be reported to DORST design within 24 hours (see article 1.1)
2.1
All the item's prices include shipping and handling fees, provided the shipping address is within the Dutch borders. For shipments outside of the Netherlands extra shipping costs will be charged in accordance to the rates of the Dutch TNT postal service.
The customer is obliged to take delivery of the items purchased at the time when they are delivered, or at the time when they are offered to the customer according to the agreement. Should the other party refuse delivery or be remiss in the provision of information or instructions necessary to the delivery, the goods shall be stored at the risk of the other party. The other party shall in such case be due all additional costs, including in all events the storage and financing costs. In the event that more than one item is ordered, shipping fees will be based on the weight of the shipment, and indicated in the order confirmation.
2.2
The prices and terms of delivery for an order are valid for 30 days. In the event that the customer pays after this period of 30 days, the prices and terms of delivery of the day that DORST design receives payment will be valid.
2.3
During transport, DORST design assumes all responsibility for the items ordered by the customer. Ownership of property despite actual delivery, is only transferred to the customer, after said customer has fulfilled the agreement with DORST design in its entirety.

DORST design will provide an estimated term of delivery after an order is placed. Estimated terms of delivery are only an indication of the actual delivery term. Exceeding of the delivery term does not grant you the right to claim any damage, cancel your order or dissolve the agreement, unless the exceeding of the term is that we cannot reasonably desire from you that you leave the agreement in score. Is this case you are entitled to cancel your order or annul the agreement in so far as deemed necessary.
4.2
The item's noted delivery term will be effective as soon as DORST design has received payment for the item.
5 .1
The customer has the right to dissolve the contract of sale with DORST design within 7 days after delivery of the shipment. The customer is obliged to inform DORST design of this fact in writing (by letter or e-mail) within the term mentioned above, and return the shipment in question in its entirety and undamaged. The total sum paid for the items will be refunded to the customers account within 10 business days after the return shipment has been received. The customer is responsible for risk of loss, and any shipping and handling fees for this return shipment.
5 .2
DORST design reserves the right to refuse returned items or to refund only a part of the sum paid is there is any reason to believe that the item has either been used or damaged by the customer.
6 .1
DORST design strives to supply durable, high quality products. You are obliged to inspect the products after delivery to determine if they meet the terms of the agreement and the expected quality. If this is not the case, you are obliged to inform DORST design of this fact in writing (by letter or e-mail), with motivation, as soon as possible, and no later then seven (7) business days after delivery, or after such an observation can reasonably be made. New products are subject to the manufacturer/supplier's warranty. If you wish to to claim warranty, you must always be able to show, or send in a receipt or invoice which mentions the product. DORST design can not offer any specific warranty on our assortment of vintage, brocante or antique products. Naturally, DORST design will endeavour to address any complaints within reason.

Any personal information provided by the customer will be added to DORST design's customer file. This information will be used for assessment purposes, to enter into and execute the contract of sale and to manage the resulting relations, specific marketing activities (if this is the customer's choice), to contest fraud and to conform to legal obligations.
